thumbnailEducational Testing Service (ETS) and Iowa Testing Programs (ITP), two trusted names in educational assessment, have developed a program that provides another pathway to attaining the credentials you need to succeed in higher education or the workplace.

The HiSET program will measure your knowledge in five core areas:

  • Language Arts–Reading
  • Language Arts–Writing
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies

HiSET preparation and official testing is available at no cost to you.

Adults who have completed pre- HiSET classes may schedule official testing by calling MCAL at 247-2022.

Testing will be held on:
Tuesdays 3:30 – 6:00PM
Wednesdays 6:00 – 9:00 PM
Thursdays (2nd Thursday Only) 9:30-11:30 AM

Preparation for Official HiSET Testing:

  • Bring your Government issued photo identification
    • ♦  Drivers License
    • ♦  State ID
  • Arrive on time for the scheduled official testing.  Students who arrive 30 minutes after the start of testing will not be tested that day.
